That 70's show

that 70's show is sooo funny. in case its the year 2020 and i forget about that that 70's show,
i'm writting about it.i can watch ashton kutcher, mila kunis, topher grace, and the dude whos hyde, not forgetting that stoner old guy with the hippie beard, all day.
i should buy all the 8 seasons. when i'm older and have the money to splurge on dvds.

sentosa and bibo

on the 24th i went to sentosa. i skipped the last class of my math tuition and it was good how aunty dawn didn't need me to work that day. i also didnt do any studying on that wednesday.

on getting out of the tram. i walked up to this lady behind a glass box.'hi how do i get to siloso beach' i asked politely. so she leaned forward and looked in the direction she pointed and said that it was a 5 mintute walk all the way straight ahead. so i went and bought a raspberry snapple and begun my 5 minute trudge in that direction. i realised that there was a blue tram passing me by but i still walked on, because the lady told me that that was how to go to siloso beach. i certainly enjoyed the scenic view of boarded up- construction sites all along the way. so i finally reached after managing to sip up all my snapple.

the skirt i wore was too short to sit in a ladylike manner. kind of embarrassing.
so later on dani and chrissy caught a gecko. ewww. and jennifer actually wore the shirt that chrissy used to catch the gecko. i kept my distance and evan ran away with me to buy ben and jerry's. i got the new york one. in a cone, which dripped.should have gotten a cup.

after they released the creature we went down to the water and took photos. almost all of mine are squiggly. too much sun made all the pictures come out funny.
evan pushed jennifer in the water. it made her 16th birthday more memorable. poor girl got drenched.

we took photos. the typical posing among the letters. no originality man! to think a thousand others have the same picture of the same background. anyway. we were on the search for aircon. so we went to delifrance. but then there was loud music blasting and it was not cold. so we walked to take the tram. which i could have if only i had known before that i did'nt have to pay for a ride. chelsea and liz and i crammed into a seat upfront and we talked about bright lights. she started a group in florida.
so it was back to coffe bean. i bought an iced sewdish berry tea. it was a good 4 bucks. we talked. more like i talked to chelsea. about politics and the role of women and tall people. jolynn and i also shared a belgian chocolate iced coffee. she was sick and we told the guy to split it into two. we bought a small size. so we ended up getting kid sized cups. but that was fine with me because i had drank snapple and berry tea and now the decadent drink. i shaked vanilla, cinnamon and chocolate onto the cream. one word- yum.

so we sat around drinking stuff. and this was our mess left behind.

liz, pris, jennifer and evan went to vivo after that. we sang lucky on the way there. we split and went to fox. but i got out of there quickly the moment they started to try on clothes. went to diaso with liz and jennifer. bought blue nail polish and thats it. to write any more would be to exhaust this entry.

little india and the zoo

jolynn is back from america! i haven't seen her since january
full and half hugs. and all there is to it.
we ate at chellas, all of us except chrissy. fun taking photos with you girl!
i met charmaine today (or is it sharmaine?) both of us are uncannily simmilar. same age. which i will not disclose. her father is an indian and her mother is chinese. just like me. she is home schooled. but unlike me,she lives in malaysia. will see you soon..

then we walked through little india stopping at two, 3 for $10 shops. i also managed to teach dani the right way of injecting the word lah into a sentence. i spotted this shirt that has a ton of examples on how to use the word.
i also worked in a way of embarrassing myself with those round balls of ice cream. too much force on the little tubey thing sent my 100 cent ice cream flying up in the air only to hit my face. it fell on the ground. no splat on anyone else but me.
the 16 of us piled into aunty lilians car and we drove to the zoo.
elephants and baboons and funky smelling ostriches.
i actually watched an elephant pee today.. how weird
i also walked right up next to a monitor lizard. and then proceeded to scream hysterically and run away. that huge black thing looked like a lizard, only a hundred times bigger. i didnt get to see its head or its eyes..thankfully. yuck
tram and a tiny monkey
blisters and over priced mountain dew.
drove to tampines safra said bye and then visited the 'hospital' to pray
had some din din and ate 5 chips more double chocolate biscuits.
we didnt win the nintendo.
saw a frog on the walk home.

bands, kids and sweats

i'm hooked onto my guitar. its a mild addiction. and maybe limewire too.
i love playing leave the pieces.
yesterday i had a rekindled love for the band switchfoot and relient k.
they are my ultimate favorite bands ever! haha..that sentence is weird..
they rock man! i own relient k's, five score and seven years. i wish i had all their CD's.
think they have 7 albums.

anyway..today i played with daniel and charis. whats up with this man..
im like playing with little kids two day in a row. today was hilarious. they both sat in sam's room huddled against the sofa. we sat on the floor and i tipped all the men and their suitcases and benches..out on the floor. and they both just sat there staring at me. nibbling on their panda biscuits.
but they soon warmed up.. they are from america. their parents are korean.
i drew a flower, did some art with them. and taught daniel how to work a paper clip.

i also went jogging at 7pm. i walked to the stadium and jogged for two and a half rounds and then i stopped and did 25 situps. i then jogged for 2 more rounds and i saw my sister streatching at the grandstand. she thought i wouldn't spot her. how could i have not... i jogged round and squinted and waved. so i completed my 2.4 sort of... yay for me.

came back and webcammed and sang. didn't eat dinner. i did take a few spoons of sweet potato
and green bean and it was salty. for the life of me i can't understand why my gran adds salt to these soupy things. she added salt to my barley the last time i made it. eeugh...
i had to spit it out...
anyhow.
i cant wait for tomorrow.
tra lala la la la... okay what was that...i think its captain underpants inspired
im happy.

if you just realize what i just realized that my day was kinda long

playing monster with two little tods has never been more fun as when i played yesterday..also because that was the first time i played monster with anyone..i think.
the little dudes screamed till their faces turned the hue of red. ok maybe im exaggerating.

in the morning i strummed my finger tips purple.
playing realize over and over.
i now have 84 songs on my zen. its a broken piece of crap thats what it is.
i can't seem to lower the volume.

slept at 2 something. and had an early morning dessert. take note of this peeps. cereal is best eaten with a huge dollop of chocolate ice cream. i mixed bluberry morning and strawberry post cereal with choc ice cream. yum its so delish!

cycling from east coast to changi

man was that tiring! the bright light ladies from america came and the twenty something of us cycled to changi and then back. i think it took us an hour to get there, and after an oily and yucky lunch i had to climb back onto my tall bike and cycle back on a full stomach. nikki, phoebe and i led the way back. and they abandoned me half way. i got too tired so i stopped to drink water and they sped off not stopping to wait. so i was cycling all by myself for about 20 minutes. my butt was super sore and my thigh muscles were screaming for mercy and then sarah and pris showed up.

so i ended up talking to sarah mally- she started the first bright lights group in america and she just happens to be an author! how cool is that? i was meeting her for the first time that day.
we talked about courtship and i asked her a few questions.
we both cycled back and were the fourth and fifth to arrive. haha.. there were still other girls at the back. close to 3 hours of cycling was a good work out. sadly when i checked the weighing scale i was still my big size. not even a kilogram lost.

Strong in the Lord Conference

on saturday there was a conference at geylang EFC. it was organised by the bright light girls from america. and i got the chance to lead a small group with chrissy. at first i was kind of nervous, i didn't know what to expect. it was slow in the beginning. but then the girls in our group, the light houses, warmed up to us. and it was quite simple and fun.
we read the biography of amy carmichael and i shared my testimony. we had skits about honouring our parents and other stories about scutterbotch and a chalk talk.
it was a good experience. and i almost sprained my fingers carrying mr von de boch? off the stage. grace was much easier to carry.
it was a long day, waking up at 5.50 and after the conference waiting for the pau to be ready. i tried to play tennis at orchind country club. i had a nice dinner at the thai place. fried cuttlefish. yum.

ironing and such

i have a job.
my job is to iron clothes. don't get me wrong i'm not some filippino maid who knows english and sets up a blog under a pseudo alias.
anyway... i have a job, my mum sort of aranged with her friend this little arrangement.
you see, she just gave birth and doesn't exactly have the time or energy to iron her laundry. so i do it for her. i think she is going to pay me the macdonalds rate. 3.50 andhour?
i reach her house at 7.40 and eat dinner there. when i was talking to my mum she told me that my dinner would probably as much as the macdonalds rate. haha.. so she doesn't have to pay me cos i eat dinner at her house.. maybe... anyhoo..thats beside the point. i am willing to help. no complains on my part. its fun to play with her two boys. ee xian and ee kai. i asked ee kia what number came after 23 and he looked at me with a cute smile and said 5! haha
they have a baby brother. who is a month old. i carried him when he was only a week old!
i just hope they don't see the creases on the back of a few sleeves, they are hard to iron out!
they even include the little boys clothes, it looks like doll cothes to me. kind of.
they sure are tiny.
